Founded in 1988, Jiaquan has evolved from a patent legal service provider to a global IP law firm with 11 offices and over 800 professionals. Specializing in IP filing, prosecution, litigation, licensing, and transactions.

• Experience in bi-directional translation (Chinese - English) in official documents, e.g., patent application documents and Office Actions, and patent infringement lawsuit documents.

• Ability to process incoming patent applications, comprising: translation; adaptive amendments according to laws and regulations; responding to Office Actions and Decisions of Rejection; and filing divisional applications.

• Ability to process outgoing patent applications, comprising: translation; adaptive amendments tailored to local laws and regulations; IDS preparation; and translating and responding to Office Actions, e.g., ROA, NFOA, FOA, Ex Parte Quayle OA.

• Ability to provide English support and/or assistance in Face-to-Face/Video/Audio technical meetings, in scenarios such as patent mining, divisional application strategy-making, and patent infringement lawsuit.

• Ability to draft responses to Office Actions for domestic patent applications, and process other events in patent life cycle.

• Intellectual Property Knowledge Base, IPKB, is a productivity tool created during the off-hours tailored to my needs to reference legal text in business emails with clients and law firms.

• Featuring Intellectual Property Laws and Regulations, IPKB is built specifically for intellectual property practitioners, such as IP attorneys, patent engineers, and IP paralegal assistants. It organizes legal text in a unique way familiar to the industry, and offers approaches to search, locate, index, and reference IP-relevant legal text.

• With modern design and PWA architecture, IPKB is managed to perform its full capabilities even in offline mode.

• Built using React and Docusaurus, IPKB is currently a non-profit and non-commercial website developed, operated and maintained solely by me.

• An online data visualization website built using Python for Data Analysis. Statistics data is fetched from upstream; cleansed, grouped, analyzed, and visualized for country level, state level and even county level.

• Built using Python(pandas) and SQL for Data Analysis, GitHub Workflows for Continuous Integration; HTML5+CSS3+JS, Bootstrap and GitHub Pages for serving; HighCharts for Data Visualization.

Founded in 1897, Zhejiang Sci-Tech University is a provincial key university located in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, with coordinated development of various disciplines of sciences.
